ABOUT
ALAN CROWDER
Alan Crowder’s writing roots go back to middle and high school when he indulged in reading and writing Romantic and Gothic poetry. His style, ranging from lucid to incomprehensibly abstract, had no bounds. Occasionally losing himself in his own words, he set out to study Psychology so he could better understand his character’s potentials and the reason they made the choices they made.
After watching Pulp Fiction, Alan took on an immediate interest in writing screenplays and wrote movies that would never get made, but instead read for his friends’ entertainment. (Currently, Alan is writing a nine-episode series about a fantasy world where an Ice Fortress topples and an undiscovered, supernatural race of people descend into civilized Wotheros. But “civilized” must be used loosely as Wotheros is littered with its own troubles as it readies for war with

the beings beyond the fortress. Will the arrival of the Dragon Queen and her dragons be enough to push back the Xenos King? Will the Bitch Queen in the South aid in the war or will she wait for her enemies to weaken in the war so she demolish them in one fail swoop? Will the Dragon King finally accept his royal blood and step up to do what’s right? Or will the political games surrounding him take a toll on him, forcing him to realize his other, more gruesome, potential?)
It wasn’t until after writing several fan-fiction series for his own enjoyment did Alan realize that writing wasn’t as scary as staring at a blank page felt. More so, he went on a mission to make the blank page fear his words. And thus sprang the spree of short stories we find ourselves with today. From horror, to sci-fi, to fantasy, to mystery, more are getting banged out every day, week, and month.
